Brief:
Located in the heart of St. John’s Wood, Project Elm Tree was a four-week transformation of a £9 million period property for a high-profile Nigerian client. The brief was to reimagine the home as a warm, culturally rooted family retreat that celebrates heritage and modern refinement.
Àdùrá Design reintroduced architectural character through bespoke coving, a freestanding fireplace, and subtle nods to Nigerian artistry — resulting in a space that feels timeless, soulful, and deeply personal.
Outcome:
With over 120,000 votes; This project was awarded Best Living Space – London at the prestigious International Design & Architecture Awards 2025, recognising its balance of cultural depth, comfort, and quiet luxury.
